Students also have the option of going active duty Army, Army National Guard, or Army Reserve. These opportunities set you up for success in various fields, including: Aviation, Armor, Chemical, Infantry, Ordnance, Signal, Quartermaster, Transportation, Medical Service, Military Police, Nursing, Finance, Military Intelligence, Field Artillery, Air Defense Artillery, the Engineer Corps and much more. Opportunities beyond the classroom involve Airborne or Air Assault Schools, Leader's Reaction Course, combat water survival tests, applied tactics in field training exercises and more. You can also earn federal commissions while earning your bachelor's degree by taking military science courses, completing a 30-day Cadet Summer Training Camp and maintaining established standards in ethics, academics, physical fitness and citizenship.Īt USD, our Military Science Cadre have the expertise and leadership needed to deliver high-quality training and education on and off campus.
